Music Query
Along with vacuum cleaners, packing sucks. Tomorrow, I will spend the majority of the day either packing or avoiding packing. It might help if those of you who recently completed this task tell me what music you listened to while sorting, packing and lugging boxes. The right music (something with energy?) may just soothe the beast within that tells me that, really, I'd rather just forget the whole thing and stay home!

A little Johnny Cash is the answer to many a problem...
"Road to Nowhere" Talking Heads;
"Solsbury Hill" Peter Gabriel; anything from the album "Frank's Wild Years" by Tom Waits; "Satan is My Motor" Cake; "Magic Bus" The Who; and you can wind down with Ani DiFranco's "Joyful Girl" to help you remember why you're doing this. How's zat? See you soon R.
I suggest Nirvana -- it is just loud enough and obnoxious enough to keep me moving through house cleaning, packing, laundry (i.e., things I don't like to do!).
The Charlie's Angels soundtrack is pretty fun... mostly 70s and 80s stuff, with a little bit of contemporary thrown in.
